The observation we made after a study ! That it still can't be decided if that a Byakugan or a tenseigan !
You guys are really eager to know about what is the visual powers of the right eye of Boruto uzumaki ! And what eye it is ! ?
We guys did some real work on research and we did go through every user of byakugan ! And we found something really interesting !
There were several byakugan users and they all had the swollen nerves when they activate it to use !
And till now ! The only characters which possess the byakugan till now are -
1. Boruto Uzumaki (first appeared in Boruto naruto the movie , byakugan first clip in episode 1 of Boruto Naruto next generation )
2. General AO of the hidden mist ! ( First appeared in Naruto Shippuden in land of iron where the first five kage conference was held ! He got the byakugan in his right eye stolen from a hyuga clan member in 3 rd great ninja war )
3. Kaguya otsutsuki ! (The progenitor of chakra ! She have the byakugan too )
4. Kinshki otsutsuki !
5. Momoshki otsutsuki !
6. Hamura otsutsuki ! (The first born of two child's with chakra )
7. Hagoromo otsutsuki!
Mostly were from the otsutsuki clan ! And only one person is outside it with natural byakugan or pretty familiar like Boruto ! General AO stole it so it's not natural !
And so after the research got off ! We found out that we saw this eye of which Boruto have before somewhere ! Moving back to the Boruto movie , when momoshki consumes the chakra of kinshki his outside of eyes turns black and he attains same curse mark , that is when high flow of chakra is released
this is our theory and observation but can't say anything much too because , the vision that the user obtain is also different from what we know and see ! Here !
we cant get to a conclusion perfectly because what if it is a prematured byakugan ! yes i know we never heard of it in any 700+ eps but still ! that what i fiqured out

Well if you watched an episode of Boruto where Urashiki stoned Toneri for 10000 years,they were talking about Borutos eye,and when urashiki left Toneri,toneri was saying in his mind "Boruto is still weak" i dont want to say alot but there were some referrences to his eye in that scene.So that eye was basically given to boruto by the Toneri Otsutsuki when he took Hinata in the epsiode where Naruto was saving her,so he cursed her child.
