heres the explaination -
When we saw boruto in the first sight using his right eye powers when he saw denki with the dark aura. peoples are now so much hyped to know that which one is it ? in my opinion that its TENSEIGANN!!!
the diffrence is that byakugan is WHITE and what we saw boruto with was LIGHT BLUE
Now going logically,
boruto have both genes of the sage of six paths (whcih was given to him by hagoramo during shinobi war) and he inherits the trait of HYUGA (decendents of HAMURA OTSUTSUKI) thus which creates tenseigan!

The tensei eye is totally blue and is mostly looking like what boruto have in his right eye !
